…watched The Dark Knight at the i-Max in Birmingham (both film and cinema a bit of a let down – sorry)

…listened to BBC 6 Music

…read the Guardian newspaper on a daily basis

…laughed at attempts to epilate chest hair

…despaired at George W Bush’s pathetic criticism of China 24 hours before being the first US president to attend the opening of an Olympics Games that wasn’t on American soil. Of course, that ceremony was in China !!!

…had hope about the predicted Indian Summer that is due to coincide with the ‘End of the Road’ festival in September

…been completely random about sailing to France to have lunch and then coming back to Blighty…!!!
